Delete your Tafseela account
Tafseela — the bridal wedding-planning app.
This page explains how to delete your Tafseela account and all the data that belongs to it. Deletion is permanent, there is no undo, and we keep no copy to restore.
The fastest way — inside the app
You can delete the account from your phone, without waiting for anyone to reply:
- Open the Tafseela app and sign in with your mobile number.
- On the home screen, tap the settings ⚙ icon at the top.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list and tap “Delete account permanently”.
- Read the confirmation, then tap “Continue to confirmation”.
- Enter the confirmation code sent to the mobile number on your account, then tap “Delete my account permanently”. The account is erased immediately.
No longer have the app, or lost your phone?
You do not need to reinstall the app. You can request deletion by email:
Email support@tafseelah.com saying that you are requesting deletion of your account, and include the mobile number registered on it. We verify your identity first — so that nobody can delete somebody else’s account — then carry out the deletion and confirm it to you.
We handle the request within the statutory window of the Personal Data Protection Law (30 days at most), and usually much sooner.
Important: your subscription is not deleted with your account
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. The payment is taken by the App Store or Google Play, not by us, so we cannot cancel it for you — if you delete your account without cancelling in the store, billing continues. Cancel it in the store first:
What is deleted
Your account and everything attached to it: your name, mobile number, email and city, your dowry budget and its items, your gift list and your guests’ reservations, your wedding-day schedule, the photos you uploaded, and this device’s notification registration.
What we keep
Two things only: subscription and payment records, stripped of anything that identifies you — the stores and our accounting need them — and a one-way fingerprint of your mobile number that cannot be turned back into the number, kept only so the free trial is not given to the same number twice. The retention periods are in the privacy policy.
